Find your current workspace and switch workspaces

A workspace is one operator's TourOperate account. See which one you are in, switch between them from User settings, and get back to a usable workspace if access is still pending.

A workspace is one operator's TourOperate account, with its own Products, Resources and departures. Your login can belong to more than one workspace, for example when you work with two companies. Everything you see in Control Room belongs to the workspace you are currently in.

Before you start

  • You are signed in. The row at the bottom of the sidebar shows the name of your current workspace above your name and email address.

See which workspace you are in

  1. Step 1:

Look at the bottom of the sidebar: the workspace name is written above your name.

  2. Step 2:

Select that row. User settings opens with your first name, last name and email address, the Interface language choice, and Current workspace with the same name.

  3. Step 3:

Company and team settings are separate; the link Company and team settings takes you there.

Switch workspace

  1. Step 4:

In User settings, the Switch workspace section lists the workspaces your login belongs to. It only appears when there are two or more, and the one you are in is marked Current.

  2. Step 5:

Select the workspace you want. The dialog shows "Switching to …", closes by itself, and Control Room reloads in the chosen workspace.

  3. Step 6:

If the switch fails, the dialog says "Could not switch to … You are still in your current workspace — try again." Nothing has changed; try once more.

What you should see

The sidebar shows the name of the workspace you chose, and Control Room shows its departures, Resources and messages.

If something looks wrong

If you land on a page headed Workspace access pending, you chose a workspace where your login exists but your access has not been prepared yet. An administrator of that organisation has to set it up. You do not need to sign out to get back to work:

  1. Step 1:

The page names the Selected workspace and, under Switch workspace, lists every workspace your login belongs to. The pending one is marked Current.

  2. Step 2:

Choose a workspace you can use. The page changes to Your workspace is ready.

  3. Step 3:

Select Continue to your workspace →. Control Room opens in that workspace, and the sidebar shows its name.

Sign out on the same page is for changing to another account, not for leaving a pending workspace.
